An Isep Bands concert on the Ordre de Malte's Péniche Solidaire

An initiative of the Ordre de Malte, the Fleuron Saint-Jean is an emergency shelter in the 15th arrondissement of Paris. It enables some fifty men in extremely precarious situations to regain stability.
The Ordre de Malte uses accommodation on the water as a means of temporary social reintegration for beneficiaries, creating a transitional environment conducive to rebuilding their lives towards a better situation. The stay on the boat offers a sense of refuge and peace, providing an opportunity for constructive reintegration despite external challenges.
Since mid-November, two Isépiens have been visiting the houseboat every Sunday to prepare and serve meals, and to chat and play with the guests. It's always a great opportunity to meet new people in this warm setting.
This Sunday, Isep Bands - the school's music association - joined us for a concert on the barge to brighten up the evening. Feedback from everyone - musicians and residents alike - was positive, and we'd like to set up regular concerts on the houseboat next year.
Many thanks to Hugues, Lucie, Amalric, Camille and Henry for this wonderful event!
