Cultural Excursions

A scavenger hunt through Parisian arcades

IsHelp en Sortie Culturelle en 2021 au Palais Royal

On Sunday November 7, IsHelp had the honor of inaugurating the first Cultural Excursion of the school year in partnership with ACPI, a Parisian association whose aim is to promote the integration of immigrants.
The excursions are supervised visits of Paris, enabling participants to get to know the capital better.

For this first event, 50 people took part in a 2-hour scavenger hunt, divided into 7 stages, through several Parisian covered passages! 🤩
These galleries are the symbol of an era when more than fifty passages made it possible to cross the city while avoiding bad weather.
The departure was at the Porte de Saint-Denis, and the route took participants past the Grand Rex, the Folies Bergères, the Musée Grévin, the Bourse de Paris all the way to the courtyard of the Palais Royal.

The game is above all an opportunity to chat with your group and get to know its members. Some were very involved in the game, like Stéphane, who found all the answers! Others, like Saïd, asked lots of questions about the monuments we visited, French culture or our hobbies. Finally, a few were more shy, like Romain, who has been in France for 3 years now and works with his father.

I'd definitely recommend repeating the experience, not only to rediscover the capital, but above all because it was so enriching on a human level!
